Alisa is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and is currently working under supervision to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She holds bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Sociology from Lindenwood University and earned her Master in Science of Social Work from the University of Tennessee–Knoxville. She is also trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and integrates a variety of approaches into her work, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Play Therapy, Art Therapy, and Sandtray Therapy.

Alisa is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and young adults as they navigate life’s challenges, big emotions, and meaningful transitions. She offers a warm, compassionate, and trauma-informed approach to therapy, creating a safe space where clients can explore their emotions and build a stronger sense of self.

She has a strong foundation in trauma work, shaped by her experince as a therapist at a child advocacy center, where she worked closely with youth and families impacted by crisis, abuse, loss and complex trauma. For those who wish to incorporate their spiritual beliefs into therapy, Alisa also provides Christian counseling.

Alisa believes that healing doesn’t always begin with words — that creativity, connection, and trust are essential in meeting clients where they are while developing the therapeutic relationship.

Outside of her work, Alisa enjoys hiking, reading, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
