Sarah Monroe, LPC-MHSP, CCTP
As a counselor, I believe it is my role to provide a safe, nonjudgmental environment for clients to process, learn and grow. I understand it can be challenging to seek help. I do not take that lightly and would consider it an honor to be a part of your journey.
I have a Master’s in Professional Counseling from Lipscomb University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, with a Mental Health Service Provider designation, in the state of Tennessee, and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I have worked with children adolescents, and adults with varying backgrounds and presenting problems including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, grief and trauma. With a Personal-Centered approach, I use several modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. As a counselor, I recognize I must meet my clients where they are to provide individualized care.
As a Christian, it is my desire for everyone to know the fullness of God and the truth of who they are. For clients who are interested, Biblical/spiritual principles can be incorporated into sessions.
