    Counselor & Intake Specialist

    Jason Roy, MS

As a counselor, I focus my work helping people who may be struggling with their faith, anxiety, stress, OCD, depression, addictions, marriage struggles and athletes looking to improve their athletic performance through mental health counseling. I have worked in a wide variety of settings helping people to overcome life struggles by integrating faith with traditional therapeutic approaches as a way of improving their mental health.

After obtaining my Masters degree in Professional Counseling from Lipscomb University, I’ve been employed as a mobile therapist counseling teenagers and adults, a Prayer Service Representative and most recently as a Biblical Counselor. I am currently in a pre-licensing and supervised status working toward LPC-MHSP designation for the state of Tennessee.

As a faith-based counselor at Saving Grace Counseling, I want to help you find healing. I understand the mental health struggles many people encounter on a daily basis are directly related to their spiritual journeys as well as their family and relational histories. Using a Cognitive-Behavorial approach with faith integration I help my clients identify the origin of their internal struggles in the pursuit of a healing that brings emotional rest and spiritual fullness.

On a personal note, I have been married to my wonderful wife since 2015 and we have a young daughter, who brings so much joy and fun to our lives. I am also a drummer for my church worship band and enjoy playing golf when I find the time!

I look forward to serving you with your counseling needs!
